Is your child struggling?

I’m here to help.

Let’s talk about how we can repair, rebuild, restore, and strengthen - together.

Your child is a source of light.

But maybe you’ve noticed that light has dimmed a little recently, and you’re concerned. Perhaps your teen is falling behind in school, having difficulty connecting with their friends, or experiencing confusion as they explore their gender identity. Your young child may be having anger outbursts or challenges with their behavior at home. Adjusting to the new, ever-changing COVID-19 lifestyle might be causing worries and changes in mood. Or your child might have recently experienced a major stressor like divorce, a death in the family, or even a traumatic event like a car accident or an act of violence.

How I can help

I provide compassionate, child-centered support to young people as they navigate life’s stressors. By connecting with creativity and trust, I can help guide your child to understand and express their emotions effectively.

Providing your child with a safe space to be themselves

All of my clients are children and teens - I don’t treat adults (with the exception of previous clients or young adults 18-21 who are navigating the transition to college life). This allows me to fully immerse myself in everything that goes on in a child’s world. I want to spend time getting to know your child for who they are and guide them to explore what is interfering with their sense of peace, happiness, or safety. By taking a look at life through their eyes and offering new skills and perspectives, I will empower your child to face challenges, overcome obstacles, and discover their best selves.

In-person and remote options

My primary office is conveniently located in West LA near the 405 and 10 freeways. I also provide animal-assisted therapy to clients one day per week at my Sherman Oaks office. Not local, or prefer your child meet remotely? No worries – telehealth is an easy and effective option.

Children are incredibly resilient.

Because you are the expert on your child, you know when something isn’t quite right. By this point you’ve likely taken steps to help make things better on your own - tried new approaches, made changes in routines or how you enforce rules, given extra support and attention. Stressful life events can also happen when we least expect them and you might feel like the opposite of an expert in new and unfamiliar circumstances. If you are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure of what to do next, you’re in the right place.

There is no shame in reaching out for professional support. It doesn’t mean that something is “wrong” with your child or with your parenting. Recognizing that your family would benefit from guidance on a tough issue is a sign of strength, and being willing to help your child navigate through difficult waters is the best way to show how important their health and well-being is to you. There’s no need to wait any longer to take the next step and bring your child closer to the relief and happiness they deserve.

Let’s brighten the light in your child.
